All Because of an Egg – A.K.A. The Last Farfallina

Bostini Cream Pie

Wow, so this challenge took me a month - truly. I started with the idea of doing a star shaped cake but got beaten to the punch. Then out of curiosity made a butterfly cake which looked amateurish and terrible, THEN decided on a simple cake which I stuffed with the custard and made into a profiterole. My goodness I truly hope the next challenge I can manage in a more efficacious manner. HOWEVER truth be told, I enjoyed each and every flop since I loved tasting each cake.

Congrats on your first challenge! Your bostinis look a bit like cream puffs that have been dunked in chocolate. What a blissful way to go! And how cool that you have your own chickens. I'd love to be able to go out and get eggs fresh from the bird.

Congrats on your first challenge! I hope you continue to participate, because I can't wait to see what else you'll come up with. :D

Yup, a chocolate dunked cream puff! Where is the custard?
Were the chickens able to keep up with the demand for this recipe?

Profiteroles are an elegent compromise to pull off! Hope you threw in plenty of exercise to balance out all that custard and cake eating, because the stats on the nutrition of these things were not pretty!

Clever idea to make profiteroles! But honestly, just because someone else did stars doesn't mean you can't do them either! With so many DBers, I think overlap of ideas is to be expected. But I like your added creativity on the bostinis. Congrats!
